It’s time to take a sneak peek into what we are all about so that you feel more comfortable renting from our woman-owned moving box company.
Allow me to introduce myself, I’m Julie, a single Mom juggling a full-time job, raising two teenage daughters, and managing this business. When I’m not busy, I love lake life, traveling, road trips, shopping, and spending time with loved ones. Swifty Totes Service is thrilled to connect with our community and make your move a seamless experience.
My terrible moving experience….
In 2012, I moved my family from NJ to NC- I packed up about 100 boxes of all different shapes and sizes. I struggled to find free boxes that weren’t dirty, stained, or ripped. I bought boxes from the local hardware store, spending money I knew I would throw away because I had never heard of moving totes to rent!!!
We arrived in NC, and the unpacking began; I had nowhere to throw the empty boxes, so I put them out on the back deck. One beautiful afternoon, I was outside breaking down all these boxes to bring to the recycling center- My toddler came outside to play at her water table and join her baby sister, who was outside with me in her high chair enjoying a snack when the skies opened up- it started to pour down rain. I discovered that my daughter had closed the door behind her, and my daugher locked it.
We were completely new to the area, and my cell phone was now locked inside; it was the middle of the work week, and I couldn’t find anyone home to borrow a phone from. We put the cardboard boxes to good use and built a fort to keep us dry until the storm passed.. however after the storm passed, I was now stuck with all these soggy, smelly, soaking-wet boxes to load up in my car and dispose of. If Swifty Totes Service had been a thing in 2012, I would’ve been all about using them. The convenience of not hunting for boxes, building, taping, unbuilding, and disposal would not have been a thing!
Although I’m glad we survived the storm together, we are going to make others move a little less stressful.

Swifty Totes Service came to life after seeing people looking for used cardboard boxes to move and coming up short. A reusable tote would be a more straightforward solution.
Part of this Community
We have been a part of the Concord, NC, Community for 11 years. We relocated here from NJ with two small kids. We have loved living in Concord; it has a small-town feel, and the Queen City of Charlotte is in our backyard!
